We are happy to take your personal dietary requirements into consideration. Please inform our reservations department in advance of any allergies, intolerances or special dietary preferences. Regardless of whether you prefer a gluten-free, lactose-free, vegetarian, vegan or alkaline diet - our chefs will prepare your meals according to your individual wishes.
Arrival: The reserved room is available from 3 pm on the day of arrival. On particularly busy arrival and departure days, e.g. Sundays from 4 pm. You are welcome to use the wellness area from 11 a.m., we will provide you with a bathrobe and towels.
Departure: Please vacate your room by 11 a.m. at the latest on the day of departure. The wellness area can be used until 11 am. Extension subject to availability until 6 pm, € 15 per person.
Subject to availability: Day room including use of the wellness area until 6 pm, lunch and coffee/cake, € 45 per person.
From Freiburg you can take the train to Seebrugg. We will be happy to pick you up at Seebrugg or Waldshut railway station by prior arrangement and take you to Höchenschwand with the hotel shuttle. Please inform the hotel team on +49 7672 4180 at least two days before your arrival.
The reservation is already firmly booked with your booking (online or by telephone).
For the New Year's Eve offer, you will receive a deposit invoice for 50% of the total amount in December.
Cancellation is possible free of charge up to 8 days before the date of arrival. For bookings over Christmas and New Year's Eve, cancellation is possible free of charge up to 21 days before arrival.
In the event of a later cancellation, we will try to rent the room to someone else. If this is not possible, we will charge 80% of the room price (for offers for the next 3 nights at the longest).
Our prices do not include travel cancellation insurance. You can take out this additionally.
What happens if the little one comes down with a virus from nursery before the holiday? Or dad loses his job and your holiday dreams are dashed? We can't compensate you for the lost holiday enjoyment, but we can compensate you for possible financial losses! ERV (Europäische Reiseversicherung AG), our partner for travel insurance, will cover your financial risk of cancellation or delayed departure for an insured reason for as little as € 6.

You are welcome to purchase vouchers from us. You can select the voucher on our website and design it yourself. Vouchers can be sent either by e-mail for you to print out yourself, collect from the hotel or by post (plus €5 for postage and dispatch). Payment can be made by credit card or bank transfer.
Yes, please let us know when you make your reservation, as our hotel has a limited number of rooms that are suitable for dogs. For your dog we charge 18 € per night (without food), only one dog per room possible. Please also note our dog house rules. Dogs are not allowed in the dining room, wellness area and lobby/bar.
We provide you with a WLAN connection free of charge. Please note that we cannot guarantee the actual availability, suitability or reliability of the Internet access.
Children from the age of 8 can visit the Badewelt. (Fitness room and saunas from the age of 18).
Children aged 8 and over have access to the pool area during Kidstime from 1 pm to 3 pm.
We have no infrastructure for small children such as a playground, playroom, paddling pool or childcare. We recommend the family hotel Feldberger Hof in the immediate vicinity.
The local municipal tax is €3 per person (aged 16 and over). The local tax is charged separately. On request, we can provide you with the KONUS guest card, which allows you to use local buses and trains free of charge, in addition to other services.
We have free car parking spaces available for you. To protect your vehicle from the sun and rain, you are welcome to rent a parking space in the underground car park for €15 per night.
Our rooms and suites as well as all facilities in the hotel are non-smoking areas. Smoking is permitted on the balconies and terraces. We have also set up an outdoor smoking area for you.
Our restaurant "Badener Stube" is open for breakfast and lunch for our house guests as part of the pampering board. We serve coffee and cake in our rustic "Schwarzwaldstube" parlour. For dinner we will reserve a fixed place for you in one of our 3 parlours.
The "Schwarzwaldstube" restaurant is open daily and offers regional organic dishes from 12:30 to 14:00 and from 18:00 to 20:00. Of course you can also enjoy Black Forest gateau!

Wellness treatments during pregnancy are generally possible. In our wellness offer, we have labelled the treatments designated by midwives as suitable for pregnant women with a dummy.
Please let us know which week of pregnancy you are in when booking. Massages can be booked up to and including the 26th week of pregnancy.
The nearest ski area Feldberg (cross-country & downhill skiing) is a 30-minute drive from the hotel. It has 14 lifts, 16 downhill runs and 55 kilometres of pistes in all levels of difficulty. You will find other beautiful cross-country ski trails in Dresselbach, Fischbach and Höchenschwand.
You can obtain detailed hiking maps or weather forecasts from our staff on site. A rucksack for your tours in the Black Forest is available in your room. If you are out and about all day, you have the option of packing a nice packed lunch instead of lunch. There is a wide variety of hiking trails waiting for you, e.g. the church and chapel trail, which leads through the individual districts of Höchenschwand and includes the various churches and wonderful old chapels. You will find numerous hiking tours in the Activities menu.
Our wellness trainers have a varied programme for you: Aqua-Fit, Nordic walking, sauna infusion, stretch and relax, abdominal and leg exercises, yoga, spinal gymnastics, Pilates and other courses as well as guided hikes in summer and snowshoe hikes in winter.
In Höchenschwand you will find an indoor tennis centre with 3 indoor courts, which, like the 4 outdoor courts, are equipped with a clay court surface that is easy on the joints.

Due to the high demand, we recommend that you book wellness treatments together with your room reservation. You are also welcome to book your treatments on site, but not all treatments may then be available to the same extent.
Depending on the occupancy in the house, there is generally also the possibility for external guests to use our wellness area (bathing world and sauna area) at a price of 45 € per day, including lunch. Please call us on +49 7672 4180 and let us know your preferred date. We will also be happy to book treatment appointments for you, subject to availability. Please understand that we send external guests a pre-payment invoice.
Our bathing world with fitness room is open daily from 7 am to 10 pm and the sauna area is open daily from 2 pm to 8 pm.
You are welcome to use the wellness area from 11 a.m. on your day of arrival and we will provide you with a bathrobe and towels.
The climatic health resort of Höchenschwand lies at 1020 metres above sea level and therefore above the fog line.
In our underground car park there is a wallbox with a connected load of 11 KWh, which you can use to charge your electric car or hybrid vehicle.
If you rent a parking space in the car park for the duration of your stay, you will receive the electricity free of charge.

my-e-car fast charging station with 2 connections at the Haus des Gastes car park.
my-e-car uses the Energiedienst charging station network. The fast-charging station with 2 22 kW connections is powered by green electricity from 100% hydropower (NaturEnergie Gold). Two electric vehicles can refuel at the same time at this charging station (one of which is the rental e-car from my-e-car).
Electric car drivers who are not my-e-car customers can also charge at most Energiedienst charging stations. All they need is a Master or Visa credit card that works with NFC (Near Field Communication) technology.
