Take the A5 to Freiburg centre, then take the B31 towards Donaueschingen to Titisee-Neustadt or take the A81 Donaueschingen exit. Then take the B31 towards Freiburg as far as Titisee-Neustadt. From here, continue on the B317 and the B500 towards Waldshut-Tiengen from both directions to Höchenschwand. At the first entrance to Höchenschwand, turn left after 150 metres to the end of the road and turn left again into St.-Georg-Straße.

In our underground car park there is a wallbox with 11 KWh connection value, with which you can charge your electric car or hybrid vehicle. if you rent a garage space for the duration of your stay, you will receive the electricity free of charge. you will need your charging cable with 3-phase plug.

The Freiburg environmental zone came into force on 1 January 2010. The city is thus complying with the air pollution control and action plan of the Freiburg Regional Council, which aims to improve air quality. Low emission zones are defined urban areas in which driving bans apply to vehicles with high pollutant emissions. Freiburg's environmental zone covers an area of 28 km². It begins in the north at Wildtal, extends to the south before St. Georgen and finds its way eastwards in Mooswald in the west up to and including Littenweiler and Ebnet. The B31/31a is also included in the low emission zone.

Anyone wishing to enter the environmental zones with a vehicle requires a fine dust sticker, which serves as an authorisation to enter. The sticker must be clearly visible on the inside of the windscreen. The circular sticker, which is just under 8 cm in diameter, contains the number of the pollutant group and the vehicle licence plate number in black lettering. The colour of the sticker differs depending on the pollutant group (1-4).

Vehicles driving or parked in the Freiburg environmental zone require a green fine dust sticker. The municipal enforcement service also checks parked vehicles. Without a green sticker, you must expect a fine of € 80.

Please drive to Waldshut railway station, from there you can take the bus to Höchenschwand. The bus station in Waldhut is opposite the railway station. The bus stop Kurhausplatz in Höchenschwand is closest to the Hotel Alpenblick and is opposite the Kurhaus. Cross the road ("Hauptstraße"), St. Georg-Straße begins on the other side (at the Kurhaus). Follow this road for approx. 300 metres, our Hotel Alpenblick is then on the right-hand side.
